Fine dining restaurant The Cherry House at Werrington has unveiled innovative plans for charity fundraising.
The restaurant, which has been under the ownership of Andrew Corrick for twenty years, will be donating a percentage of takings to the Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust General Charitable Fund throughout 2014.
Commenting on the scheme, Mr. Corrick said: “We enjoy welcoming many NHS staff to The Cherry House; our restaurant in Werrington village seems to be a favourite with Stamford and Peterborough personnel alike. Their support has been highly appreciated over recent years, so much so that we felt we should be giving something back. By making this donation each time an NHS member of staff dines with us, we are saying “thank you” and contributing financially to their fundraising.”
